1. List and describe two things you already knew.
*Trucking or Dolly shots move with the action.
*Shoot a whole lot more raw footage than you'll put in your final production. Five times as much is not unusual. Giving yourself that latitude might help you grab shots you woul dhave missed otherwise.

*To avoid using the zoom button and making it easier on yourself is to simply lean eith erin or out.
*Establishing shots help you to tell the story by grabbing the viewers attention.

Pumped for Pumpkins
1. What is the "Commitment" in the Pumped for Pumpkins story?
A relationship between a man and his garden is one for the record books.

"I named him Chubaca, becuase all he does is eat."
"I'm hoping that the pumpkin will be somewhere around 1400lbs."

Shayna's Story
1. What is the role of the reporter's seques in this story?
To transition from each event that happened in the story as Shayna was falling from the sky. They also passed from past to present a coulpe times. She also gives certain information during the segues like how long she was in the hospital and how far she fell.
2. Why do you think she did not include a stand-up in the story?
Because it kind of flowed really well with just Shayna and her instructor talking the whole time... they were the ones telling the story instead of the reporter.
3. What is the biggest surprise in the story?
That Shayna was pregnant when her accident happened.
4. How does the story end with hope?
Shayna had her baby and it was born with no complacations whatsoever.

Death of Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was an American computer entrepreneur and inventor. He was the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Jobs also previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios and was on the board of directors at Walt Disney Studios. He died yesterday, October 5th, at the age of 56 due to pancreatic cancer.

Camera Manual Questions
1. The memory card goes in the bottom of the camera inside the battery cover. You remove the battery cover, slide the card into place, and then place the battery cover back on.
2. You open the LCD monitor or you press and hold the power button for 1 second.
3. The record button is on the side of the camera in the middle.
4. The Zoom is right above the recors button, on the side of the camera in the middle.
5. Press the MODE button and then use the joystick to move to the "my works" mode. Or press the play/pause button on the left side of your LCD screen.
6. Press the menu button.
7. Night shot, flashlight, and effect.
